About suspension of Japan-Insights’ activities and transfer of content
During the Phase II of our Japan-Insight initiatives, started in February, 2023, we have introduced articles (stories) on a broad range of future-focused projects in Japan Studies, led by leaders of major institutions around the world, who shared their objectives and the passions that drive their work.
We have positioned FY2026 as the period for us to look back the achievements of Japan-Insights and consider our future steps. Consequently, we will halt new activities of Japan-Insights during FY2026, and close the Japan-Insights web site on June 30, 2026. The past stories will be transferred to the section on TIFO-Initiated activities at TIFO’s general web site. In the meantime, the essays, created and posted during Phase I, will no longer be available.
